ORDERING
How long does it take for my Message in a Bottle to arrive at its destination from the day I order it?
As all of our messages are personalised delivery usually takes 1-2 days
from the date of ordering. However, at busy periods of the year ie.
Valentines and Christmas Holidays delivery should be expected to take
longer.
How are the bottles packaged for delivery?
We go through great lengths to ensure that our bottles arrive at their
destination undamaged. We use multiple lines of protection, which
include biodegradable polystyrene chippings and transit tested delivery
boxes.
What addresses appear on the outside of the delivery packaging?
Beyond the recipient's address there will be no invoice or
distinguishing logo's on any box option so the recipient of the gift
will not know what it is, or who sent it until they actually unscroll
the message. Be sure to included your name in the text of your message
if you want them to know who its from.
What is the bottle delivered in, if I do not have an optional presentation box.
If you do not choose a gift box your message in bottle will be packaged
into a plain brown cardboard box filled with bio-degradable chippings.
Where do I specify the address of where I want the bottle sent?
This is done at checkout. You will be asked to choose between sending
it to the billing address or to an alternate delivery address.
What if my Message in a Bottle arrives damaged?
In the case that your bottle arrives damaged in any way, carefully
dispose of the damaged bottle and email us immediately. We will send a
replacement at once.
Can I send my Message in a Bottle Overseas?
We send overseas messages by Royal Mail Priority International Signed
For delivery charges for the United States, Canada, Asia and Australia
and all of Europe are £15.00
BOTTLES
What are the bottles made of?
All of our bottles are made of glass.
How tall are the bottles?
Our bottles stand 23cms in height and are sealed with a cork.
What are the bottles filled with?
All the bottles are filled with golden sand and a very pretty selection
of colourful and unusual seashells from Malaysia. Inside the bottle
there is also a scroll of thick parchment paper, inscribed with a
personalised message from you.
MESSAGES
On what type of paper do you print your messages?
The paper we use is a 90gsm gold parchment paper.
How long can a message be?
Normally messages should be kept to what text will fit on a standard
8.5 x 11 inch page. At most this can be stretched to what text will fit
on two of the above sized pages. However keeping it to one page makes
it both more aesthetically pleasing and easier to remove from the
bottle by the recipient. |
